Dear Campus Life
Friends –
WHERE DO I START?
This past month has been a
whirlwind of activity at the
Campus Life Family Center. God
has moved in so many ways, and
the excitement, direction, and
passion of sharing the LIFE
CHANGING message of salvation
through Jesus energizes all of
us. The vision and
opportunities He provides
humbles and yet drives us
forward into this GREAT
ADVENTURE.
I was having coffee
the other day with a young man
who recently trusted Jesus as
his Lord and Savior. His
excitement and enthusiasm was
bubbling as he shared with me
the walk he had taken to get to
this point in life. Now as he
embarks into the rest of his
life as a believer things will
be different: different
priorities, a different mission,
a different way of looking at
things. God is changing him,
molding him into the man God
wants him to be. The change is
exciting!
Weekly club programs
continue strong as we approach
the end of the school year.
Even though the school year ends
the ministry continues and
actually increases throughout
the summer months. We are
excited and look to summer
outreaches with great
anticipation. Beach days,
camping, bonfires, BBQ’s, Int’l
Soccer Camp, Ultimate Frisbee
League, time in the parks – all
great opportunities to reach
young people for Christ.
A very big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the 2008
Celebration Banquets a great
success. What a wonderful opportunity to share the multiple
ministries of Campus Life with
many people - some people who
have been friends of the
ministry for many years, and
some very new friends as well.
What a great, meaningful time
celebrating the goodness of God
and the incredible blessings He
has rained down upon Campus
Life.
DON’T FORGET THE AUCTION!
The 2008 Campus Life Benefit
Auction & Brat Fry is coming up
on Thursday, May 29th
at the Campus Life Family
Center. The Silent Auction and
Brat Fry starts at 5:00 pm with
the Live Auction beginning at
6:15 pm. We are still
looking for more new items if
you would like to donate
something for the auction and
items for the bake sale.
Invite your friends, come & bid,
and have a wonderful evening.
All proceeds will be used for
scholarships and other Campus
Life programs for area youth.
Thank you for your continued
financial and prayerful support
of this ministry. You are an
important part of Campus Life.
Without your help and the grace
of God Campus Life could not
continue to share the love of
Jesus with the youth and
