Mission trips

What we do

Hundreds of youth and adults have participated in Campus Life Mission Trips. These outreaches combine service to God with educational opportunities. From serving in a local soup kitchen, to caring for a needy children, to helping an elderly person at the Old Folks Home in Quito, Ecuador, everyone is challenged, blessed and enriched.

Since 1993, Campus Life has had 20 Mission Trips to Ecuador with almost 300 team members, both teens and adults. Missions or organizations which we have helped include Gospel Missionary Union, H.C.J.B., Missionary Aviation Fellowship, Camp Hope, the Old Folks Home, and others.

Closer to home, Campus Life has done mission work in Milwaukee, Chicago and other larger cities. These trips have included building projects at camps, street ministry and handing out food to the homeless.

Summer S.L.A.M. (Student Led Action Ministry). Working in conjunction with an inner-city ministry in Milwaukee, Campus Life students and staff have been able to share their faith, grow in their faith and work in an unfamiliar culture, all very near to home.

All of these are opportunities for teenagers and adults to put their faith into action and to serve God by serving those around us.

Ecuador 2011

Can 32 suitcases change the world? Probably not. But the people who brought those 32 suitcases (and another 16 carry-ons) to South America this past February, will forever be changed. On Saturday, February 19, sixteen students and adults traveled to Quito, Ecuador, as part of Campus Life’s 20th mission trip to this very poor country. Along with them came hundreds and hundreds of pounds of medicine & medical equipment, vitamins, educational supplies, personal care products, and a whole lot of love. Team members spent time caring for elderly people at the “old folks home," performing basic maintenance tasks and repairs at Camp Hope and Allianza, and a host of other jobs during this nine-day trip. The team stayed safe and healthy, and were a blessing to those whom they served. Thank you for your prayers during our trip.
