Here am I, Lord

Updated: Aug 25, 2022

Dear Campus Life Friends,

“What can I do to help?” I had two gentlemen ask that question recently after I had shared the need we have for more adult men to work with our high school and middle school club programs. Guy volunteers are a huge need and there seems to be very few willing to step up. These two men are willing to help, and it is very much appreciated. But that also got me thinking.

Why is there such a big need for volunteers within the Christian community? And, how can we all be a part of the solution rather than a part of the problem?

Here at Campus Life we are blessed with some amazing volunteers. People who commit their time, treasure and talent to helping the ministry move forward. I like to brag on them because they are so faithful, so dedicated and so caring. But, as the ministry grows - we need more help. So, how does that work? Basically, it starts with people asking themselves, “What can I do to help?" Think on it, pray about it, and then reach out and contact us. There are many places to plug-in. Some one-time projects, some weekly commitments, it’s up to you. No matter where you are at in your faith and life, there’s a place for you at Campus Life. It’s hard to believe, but summer is winding down. We just finished our summer camp for 3rd-5th graders. It was a great week with almost 40 children participating (plus another 15-20 support staff). Games, crafts, team-building and Bible lesson time everyday. It was awesome. We are so blessed to be able to share the good news of Jesus with the children of this community. Seeds of the Gospel were planted, previously planted seeds watered, and we just continue to pray that God will give the increase for children to come to saving faith in Christ. We do our part - God does His part. All’s good.

Thank you for everything that you do to help keep the ministry here at Campus Life moving

forward in faith. We are so excited for the school year ahead, and what amazing doors of

opportunity God will be opening for us. Thank you for praying for us, encouraging us, and

financially supporting this local outreach. Everything we do is ministry driven, and we couldn’t

do it without you. God is doing an amazing work, and you are a part of it as we help people

move one step closer to Jesus. Thy will be done, Lord, now and always. Blessings to you all.

Serving together,
