God called us to be salt and light to the world. Our own country is in need of that as much as any other. How might God use you? Are you willing to find out?

 

Washington D.C. is a symbol of power and opportunity in the U.S. and around the world. Each year, tourists visit to soak in the historical sites, but the city is also filled with ordinary people who dream of a better future. We will experience wealth and poverty living side-by-side in the nation’s capital as we engage with people from all walks of life who are making a home for themselves in neighborhoods just outside our nation's capital. We have opportunities for children’s ministry with VBS or after school programs, homeless ministry, prayer ministry around the capital, and more! There is a lot of need within and around the capitol, and we have an opportunity to help assist churches who are trying to be the hands and feet of Jesus by helping meet those needs.
