Dear Campus Life Friends,
WOW! Where did the summer go? It’s hard to believe we’re already preparing to launch another exciting year of ministry. We had a GREAT summer, and we are so thankful for all God allowed us to experience. Now it’s time to get ready for another year of ministry to children, students, adults, and families throughout the greater Sheboygan area.
Before we look ahead, I want to share something that really encouraged my heart. During Adventure Camp in August, approximately 60 students and more than 20 staff and volunteers spent the week enjoying games, crafts, team-building, Bible study, and Scripture memorization. It was wonderful to watch Hannah and Anna, our Children’s and Student Ministry Directors, lead the camp so well.
What made it especially meaningful is that both Hannah and Anna grew up through Campus Life. They were once children and students in our programs, became involved in leadership, and now serve on our staff. Others invested in them, and now they are investing in the next generation—young leaders like Kate, Courtney, Hannah S., and many others.
It reminded me of Psalm 145:4:
“One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.”
Praise God for what He has done and continues to do through Campus Life!
And now… on to the school year—YAHOO! Our children’s, student, adult, men’s, and women’s programs are all getting ready to launch or continue. Bible studies, camps, missions, Sisterhood, and our outreach to the juvenile detention center and assisted living communities are all part of what lies ahead.
We are so blessed to serve God by serving our community and helping people take one step closer to Jesus. We are also incredibly grateful for the generosity of our Campus Life family. A special THANK YOU to everyone who supported our annual Fund-A-Cause appeal. PRAISE THE LORD—we surpassed our $40,000 goal! Your generosity allowed us to make important improvements to our building and parking area, making them more accessible and safer for those with mobility challenges.
Thank you for your prayers, generosity, encouragement, and partnership. We are truly grateful for each of you and for the part you play in the ministry of Campus Life.
May God bless you, just as you have been such a blessing to us!
With gratitude and blessings,
