What gets you frazzled?

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold youwith my righteous right hand.” ~ Isaiah 41:10
Dear Campus Life Friends,
What gets you frazzled? As I look around, I see a lot of frazzled people. Single moms, trying their best to deal with their children, high schoolers trying to figure out their future, parents trying to navigate difficult family dynamics, senior adults trying to deal with medical issues. Everybody is dealing with something.
One staff member told me of the challenges she’s encountering walking through the New Believers study with a woman who is dealing with an unexpected divorce. Another staff member was walking through a difficult medical situation with a senior adult who’s very much afraid. Another ministry friend is trying to deal with their adult children, who are anything but supportive of their Christian faith. Yet, in the midst of all of this, God’s word reminds us, “...do not fear, for I am with you;”
Finding comfort in the words of the Lord is really good, but sometimes it’s nice to have someone to talk through and walk through trials and difficulties with you. That’s a lot of what we do here at Campus Life, and what we encourage and train others to do as well. Don’t think you’re up to the task? God’s word says otherwise. “I will strengthen you and help you.” Trust Him - we do. You might be surprised at what He might be calling you to do.
While it may be the dog days of summer, ministry certainly isn't slowing down! Next week we will welcome dozens of 3rd-5th graders for our annual Adventure Camp. It will be a wonderful week filled with games, crafts, team-building activities, Bible lessons, worship, prayer, and plenty of fun. More importantly, it will be an opportunity for children to grow in their relationship with Jesus while building lasting friendships. Please pray for every child, volunteer, and staff member involved. Ask the Lord to work powerfully in each heart and to use this week to plant seeds of faith that will last a lifetime.
Finally, we GREATLY appreciate your faithful partnership with Campus Life. Your prayers,
encouragement, and financial support make this ministry possible, especially during the
financially lean summer months. We are continually reminded that God provides through the generosity of His people, and we are deeply grateful for each and every gift.
Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for believing in this ministry. And thank you
for helping us share the hope of Christ with those who need Him most.
With gratitude and hope,
