Every Age & Every Stage

“Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak…” ~James 1:19 (NIV)

Dear Campus Life Friend,

Sometimes, we simply need to stop and listen.

But what does that really look like?

In our children’s ministries, it means taking time to let a child express themselves, share a story, or simply know someone cares enough to listen. With our middle and high school students, it means hearing their concerns about friendships, relationships, life's challenges, and God's direction for their future. With our adults and senior adults, it often means making space for conversations about family, personal struggles, loneliness, and everyday challenges.

The truth is, everyone wants to be heard, valued, and understood. As followers of Christ, we are called not only to be His hands and feet but also His listening ear. I am continually reminded of this as people open their hearts and share their hurts and struggles with our staff. Sometimes, what makes the greatest difference isn't having all the right words or offering an immediate solution. It's simply being present, listening without judgment, and reminding someone they are not alone.

These moments are at the heart of what makes our ministry so meaningful. They allow us to build relationships, demonstrate Christ's love, and meet people right where they are. This is what it means to serve Every Age & Every Stage.

We are blessed to be a blessing to others. And sometimes, one of the greatest blessings we can offer is simply showing up and being there for someone who needs to know they matter. That is what your partnership with Campus Life makes possible. Your generosity helps us continue sharing the hope of Jesus and making a difference in the lives of individuals and families throughout our community.

Soon, you should be receiving our annual year-end appeal card in the mail. Our goal this year is to raise $70,000, and we need your help to make it happen. This isn't simply a fundraising number; it represents a very real need and the resources necessary to continue the ministry God has entrusted to us.

A friend once said something to me that I have never forgotten: “Jim, if there is a need in the ministry, I can't help out if I don't know about it.” How true that is! And while asking for financial support doesn't always come easily, I realize we need to give others the opportunity to be part of what God is doing through Campus Life.

So, as God continues to humble my heart, I want to ask you personally: Will you prayerfully consider standing with us and making a financial gift toward our $70,000 year-end goal? Every gift, large or small, makes a difference.

Thank you for believing in Campus Life, for your generosity, and for standing alongside us. We truly need you and appreciate you! May God continue to bless you as you have been a blessing to others!

With gratitude and blessings,
