Grandparents are a blessing

I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also. 2 Timothy 1:5
Dear Campus Life Friends,
I was looking in on our Kingdom Kids program the other day, just to see how things were going. While I was there, I noticed two grandparents. One had brought his grandson, as he regularly does, and the other was helping his granddaughter, who was leading the class. It made me smile as I thought about all the grandparents involved in various ministries here at Campus Life. Many give of their time, treasure, and talents—whether by attending programs, financially supporting the ministry, or volunteering. They enjoy being here and are actively involved. More importantly, they are living out their faith and being the hands and feet of Jesus in whatever capacity God has placed them.
The value of godly grandparents is clearly seen in the life of Timothy. While Paul was responsible for his conversion, the seed of faith was first sown in his heart by his grandmother, Lois, and his mother, Eunice (2 Timothy 1:5). Whatever good Timothy accomplished in the Lord’s kingdom, the influence of his grandmother contributed to it. When we have more grandparents like Lois, there will be more young men like Timothy.
One of the most important roles of grandparents is to live a godly life. The fundamentals
of Christianity—of which so many young people are ignorant today—can be modeled and taught by godly grandparents. All grandparents should resolve, as they are able, to spend quality time with their grandchildren. You need them, and they need you. Your words of encouragement are priceless to struggling grandchildren and their parents. You help shape and mold their lives into what God would have them be, while also creating precious memories that will last a lifetime.
The 2026 Campus Life Father Daughter Ball is now complete. WOW! Over 500 fathers
and daughters participated during the two-night event at Blue Harbor Conference and
Resort Center. Please pray that this quality time together will continue to bless and strengthen (and in some cases repair) relationships, and further strengthen families as a whole. Everyone benefits when relationships and families are strengthened. Strong families build strong churches. Strong churches build strong communities. Strong churches and strong communities build a better world.
A very big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our annual year-end fundraising appeal. We reached our goal, allowing us to break even for 2025—PRAISE GOD! These funds greatly impact our ability to continue ministry in the community. We thank God for how He has blessed Campus Life, and we thank you for your generosity and trust. Your prayers and gifts make this ministry possible. You are appreciated and valued partners in this work. We truly couldn’t do it without you.
Serving the youth and families of the area,
