It's the Little Things

Dear Campus Life Friend,

I often share with you the new, exciting, and big things happening at Campus Life — and it’s all really good stuff! God has allowed this ministry to grow beyond what we could have ever imagined, and we are so grateful.

But over the years, I’ve learned something important: while the big things are easy to see, it’s the little things that have a big impact.

It’s the child in Kingdom Kids who memorizes a Bible verse or prays out loud for the first time.  It’s a few middle school boys gathering before club to open up God’s Word together. It’s a senior adult volunteer visiting someone in assisted living, or someone faithfully showing up to spend time with kids in juvenile detention.  It’s a man opening a Bible for the very first time in a small group, or a woman volunteering in the kitchen at Senior Lunch Bunch.

These “little things” may not make headlines, but they have a huge impact. And we get to see them every day at Campus Life.

In the coming days, you’ll receive our annual Year-End Appeal card. This is one of our most important fundraising efforts each year, and our goal is to raise $50,000 to help fund our ever-growing ministries. Like everyone, our operating costs have gone up significantly — and we need your support now more than ever. Please pray and give as you’re able. Every gift, big or small, truly makes a difference.

Also — don’t forget about our Festival of the Trees coming up soon! This family-friendly event will transform Campus Life into a Christmas wonderland — inside and out. We’ll have lights, trees, music, a marketplace, KidZone, and more. It’s going to be a fantastic Christmas experience, and we hope it will also help us raise some of the funds needed for the coming year. Bring your friends and come celebrate the season with us!

Thank you for being such an important part of this ministry. As we approach Thanksgiving, we thank the Lord for His faithfulness — and we thank you, our Campus Life friends, for always standing with us.  You truly are a gift from God.
