Joy in Spring

"Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert". ~Isaiah 43:19

Dear Campus Life Friends –

There’s something about this time of year that lifts the heart. After months of snow, cold, wind, and gray skies, the warmth of spring feels like a gift. You can see it on people’s faces—smiles come a little easier when we step outside and feel the sun again.

We’ve been noticing that same joy across our ministries. A few weeks ago, our Kingdom Kids Bible Story Hour was able to head outside, and the laughter during those games said it all. Our

middle school and high school students gathered around their first bonfire of the season—there was a sense of lightness, of connection, of enthusiasm and joy. Even some of the youth at juvenile detention had the rare opportunity to spend time outdoors - it makes a difference. I even caught a couple of the guys from our Bible study taking a walk around the pond — it made me stop and smile.

God’s creation has a way of ministering to the soul. In simple, quiet ways, He uses it to

refresh us, to remind us of His presence, and to draw us closer to Him. And in those

moments—whether around a fire, on a walk, or in a child’s laughter—we see part of what

it means to help people move one step closer to Jesus.

It’s hard to believe another school year is already coming to a close. What a full and meaningful year it has been. As the school year winds down, ministry here at Campus Life doesn’t slow—it shifts. Students begin transitioning to new grades, programs adjust to summer rhythms, and new opportunities begin to take shape. We’re especially excited about what’s ahead, including expanded Kingdom Kids programming, a summer book club and our summer time Formula 4 events for middle school and high school students. There is truly something for everyone, and we are eager to see how God continues to work through these growing outreaches to the youth and families of Sheboygan County.

A quick note as well—we’ve recently installed an automatic door opener at the south entrance. It’s already been a tremendous blessing for those with mobility challenges, and we’re grateful for how even small improvements can help us better serve others. And yes… there’s more to come.

Thank you for your continued prayers and faithful financial support. You are a vital part of what God is doing through Campus Life. We are deeply grateful for your partnership in this ministry. By God’s grace—and through your generosity—we are able to continue sharing the love of Jesus with youth and families throughout our community.

With gratitude and hope,
