We Look But Do Not See

Dear Campus Life Friends,

Sometimes I think we look, but we do not see. Over the past several weeks I have had the opportunity to spend time with two potential volunteers seriously searching for what God would have them do with their lives. One is young, one not-so-young. I have this conversation with people regularly and every time I point them to John 5:17 and to a quote from Experiencing God.

"...Jesus said to them, "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working."" ~John 5:17
"Watch to see where God is working and join Him." ~ Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby & Claude King

We know God is working, but where is He at work? Both people have a heart to serve, and after several discussions we’ve been able to identify some areas where God is working and getting them plugged in. Here at Campus Life, God is working all the time and we have a front-row seat as we see life change before our eyes. Be it in a school age program, senior adult activity, Bible study, mentoring session, or juvenile jail outreach, God is at work - thank you Lord.

Well, after months of preparation and the amazing generosity of Campus Life friends and businesses, the 2022 Live Benefit Auction and Brat Fry is just a few days away. The online auction went great last week and now it’s time for the live auction. Thursday, June 2nd is the big day. Brat Fry runs from 4:00 - 6:30 pm and the auction is from 6:00 –8:00 pm. C’mon out and join us. The funds we raise through this event help cover the cost of many of our outreaches and programs over the summer (and beyond). Thank you for all you do or have done to make this possible. Things are moving fast here at Campus Life. Next week we will be kicking off our summer club programs, our new men's Bible study, and Spice of Life senior luncheon. All of our core programs continue throughout the summer months – just in different ways. From bon-fire nights, to cookouts, to wacky water games - weekly activities here at Campus Life give high school and middle school students a place to hang out in a positive, encouraging, Christ centered environment.

Thank you for being a part of this “continuing miracle”. Your prayers and support mean more than words can express and are very much appreciated. I am so thankful that we serve a great God and have caring friends like you.

Making a difference in people’s lives - together,
