Working with what you’ve got…plus Jesus.

Dear Campus Life Friends –

There’s a line from an old movie where a character asks, “What can I do (to help)?” to which the other character says, “I don’t know, what can you do?”  We all have gifts and abilities, sometimes we just don’t know how to apply them.  Some have time, some have talents, some have treasure - but we all have something.  So, what do we do with them?

Here at Campus Life, we see people doing things that they NEVER thought they could do.  Things like going into juvenile jail and doing Bible studies, going into assisted living facilities and visiting lonely people, cooking meals for those in need, or working with middle schoolers.  Why do they do that? Well they have TIME and a desire to serve God by loving on others. We also see people doing minor electrical or plumbing work we need done, digging in downspout drainpipes, or fixing our mowers.  Why do they do that? Well they have the TALENT and a desire to serve God

by loving on others. People have also blessed Campus Life financially which allows us to continue the work we are called to do.  Why do they do that? Well they have the financial resources (TREASURE) and a desire to serve God by loving on others. Everyone can do something to further the kingdom. What can you do? You just have to work with what you’ve got...plus Jesus.

Warmer weather is here - almost, and Campus Life summer programming starts...NOW!  Weekly programs, Bible studies, Kingdom Kids Plus, Adventure Camp, outreaches and much more all provide a safe, encouraging and nurturing environment for students and adults.  Please pray for the hundreds of people that will be coming through our doors this summer as we share the

gospel message and core Biblical principles in a variety of ways with a variety of people.  Pray that the Good News of Jesus will be shared and that their hearts will be open and receptive to the Word of God.  Also, please pray for safety and health for those participating, and that God will do a mighty work during these outreach times. Everything we do at Campus Life is ministry driven and we are looking forward to a great three months of ministry ahead of us.
